I really really enjoyed it. Perculiar and wonderful. Loved the style of writing. Wasn’t overjoyed with the way it finished but I’m no writer so I’m not sure how I would have preferred it.
What should I read next?

It was much easier to read than 1984. Much more flowing, and the content was like crack to my mind. Both were bloody interesting, but I think BNW will stay with me longer in many ways.
On to Catcher in the Rye now - going through it pretty fast! Nice to have a change of content/style now.

Started reading it 2 days ago - keeping up the utopia/dystopia theme…

It took me WAY too long (I was writing my final papers and moving 16000km across the globe in the mean time… I hope that’s a valid excuse) I finished Nineteen Eighty-Four.
I should have read it long, long ago (as with all the rest on this list, I guess)
Considering tackling Brave New World next.

If I read a book and it makes my whole body so cold no fire can warm me, I know that it is poetry. If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that it is poetry. These are the only ways I know it. Is there any other way?

First of all, I really wish there was a way to send messages or leave comments on tumblr, but as there are not, I shall tell you this here.
I didn’t realize that Lolita and Shadow of the Wind were already on your list, but it makes me incredibly happy to see that they are and I really hope you enjoy reading them. Lolita gets kind of weird and uncomfortable at parts, but it’s still riveting. Shadow of the Wind is simply amazing and one of the best thriller/adventure novels I’ve ever read.

On the off-chance that anyone will look at this: Are there any books you think should be on that list, and aren’t?
